The bed was supercomfy and extralarge. Small balcony. Close to Lake Vidraru and Poenari Castle. Excellent, reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant. Friendly, welcoming family-run hotel. Easy to find. Sleek and polished finishes.

Our New Year experience at this hotel was amazing! The bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. We loved the fact that we had a small balcony with a great view. The location was perfect for us, as it was very close to the Lake Vidraru and the Poenari Castle. We also enjoyed the tasty food and complementary palinca and tuica that were offered to us.

We did have a couple of minor issues during our stay. One was that there were no blinds on the windows, which made it difficult to sleep in the morning.
